This R32 Skyline is definitely what I would call the signature Shifterco shop car. This car was my first JDM and has been my passion build, completing it has always taken priority over the other cars. The car was originally exported from Japan to Canada in 2006 with 82K KM on the chassis. It was swapped from an RB20DET to the much more desired RB25DET NEO from the ER34 GT-Turbo. The transmission was originally automatic and has since been converted to an R34 GTT 5-Speed Manual, the matching transmission for the motor. The car was originally TH1 Dark Blue Pearl, but repainted to BT2 Champion Blue, also known as Calsonic Blue, featured on the Calsonic Team Impul Japanese Touring Car Championship Skylines. The car was imported to the US in April of 2018 where it made its way to Colorado, and then titled in 2020.
The engine has been professionally built up to showcase the RB25's performance capabilities. The car has visited many of Denvers most reputable car shops for work, such as iCraveBoost, VI Engineered, Carshop Defy, and Divulge Motorsports, with all records kept to document the work done to the car. The car has been tuned a few times for each batch of upgrades, the last tune making 430 peak horsepower at 7,000 RPM and 350 foot pounds of torque at 5500 RPM. The Dyno results show that the powerband is in line with other RB's with uprated turbos and demonstrates the well functioning setup.
The Transmission in this car was initally an R32 RB20DET transmission matching the R32 GTST but since early 2023 has been converted to the RB25DET transmission from the R34 to match the motor. This was done because the RB20 transmission was a weaker transmission, with the RB25 gearbox being much more capable of holding power for the engine build. The conversion entailed a brand new OEM transmission gearbox from Nissan, a custom driveshaft, new speedometer sensor, uprated clutch, as well as NISMO R34 transmission mounts.
