The AE111 Toyota Corolla Levin and the Sprinter Trueno are a series of compact sports coupés and hot hatches produced between 1995 and 2000. This was the last Corolla generation to have the Levin sports package upgrade or an equivalent Sprinter model. Of the trims released; XZ, FZ, BZ-V, BZ-G and BZ-R only the last three models were powered by the mighty 20 Valve "Black Top" version of the iconic Toyota 4A-GE 1.6L inline-4 that powered the previous generations of Sprinters and Corollas.
This AE111 is a great example of a very lightly modified and well kept vehicle. The engine note has been complimented by an HKS Super Header Exhaust Manifold and a Fujitsubo Legalis Catback Exhaust, making for a very classic and unrestricted race exhaust setup. The engine maintenance has been kept up with and some components were upgraded such as the Ultra Spark Plug Wires and Billion Radiator Hoses. The exterior of the vehicle is in amazing condition with only few signs of wear over the years. Likewise, the interior of the car has been very well kept and shows almost no fading or damage. The driver seat has been upgraded with a beautiful Bride seat, a classic and comfortable choice for a sporty interior. The interior retains the original steering wheel and seatbelt sytstem, which is worth noting as they are factory safety options. The ride height remains original sitting on the factory optional Super Strut Suspension. This Strut option changed the geometry of the suspension, increasing handling with rapid responsiveness to driver input, making this car feel that much more nimble to drive.
