The Toyota Chaser has been known as one of the 'triplet sedans' of Toyota, because it shares the same chassis with the Toyota Mark II and the Cresta. The Chaser lineup consisted mostly of Avante and Tourer trims, with the Avante as the luxury model and the Tourer models being the sportier trims. This Chaser is a Tourer V model, the only trim equipped with the turbo 1JZ-GTE engine. The fact that it is an original factory Manual car makes it a much better choice over a swapped car, as most transmission swaps can mean questionable work and future issues.
My personal take on this Chaser is that it's a fairly unmodified blank slate. Its an average condition car with a lot of typical wear and tear but nonetheless ready for someone who wants to jump into a manual Tourer V for daily driving or to start their next build with. This Chaser comes equipped with the OEM Factory Lip Kit and Spoiler, as well as aftermarket coilover suspension and a catback exhaust. The fenders appear have been rolled for wider aftermarket wheels that were probably removed before being sold off in Japan. There is visible wear and tear on the steering wheel, seats, and dash, but the interior is still fair nevertheless. Featuring the classic Tourer V carbon trim, the inside feels sporty yet spacious and comfortable. The 1JZ engine and turbocharger respond eagerly to throttle and the car has a lot of get up and go. Perfect for highway driving or for performance application.
